This assignment was for the class Information Institutions and Professions. For this assignment, I created a bibliography of resources related to creating accessible workplaces for autistic adults. In addition, I created a memo to an imaginary library director detailing a program to support autistic employees at the library. In addition to synthesizing the research for the library director, I also wrote goals, objectives, and concrete measurable outcomes, as well as the plan for measurement. This aligns with PLO 2 by synthesizing research, and planning a how to evaluate the program. It also relates to PLO 3 and III.E.6 from the Competencies for Special Collections Professionals by analyzing how libraries can create policies to support neurodivergent employees.
